Gran Sasso aerial-tramway

After the 2009 earthquake Altevie designed and directed the general overhaul and modernization of the Gran Sasso of Italy cable car, which connects the L’Aquila basin with Campo Imperatore, a ski resort at 2912 meters above sea level. The reversible aerial tramway, with cabins each carrying 100 people, has a length of about 3000 meters, making it one of the longest cableways in Europe.
