Avalanche risk defense zone of Vena Rossa – Gran Sasso d’Italia

On behalf of the Municipality of L’Aquila, a project was carried out for the construction of snow barriers in the Vena Rossa area affected by known avalanche phenomena, which involve the closure during the winter season of the State Road below.
The area involved falls within the Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga National Park.
